Forest Park School, Southampton
Newtech Southern was required to supply and install 15 Soundfield Systems for Forest Park School. Each system was to be 100% transferable to all other systems allowing each teacher to be supplied with a neckloop microphone which could be used in any room. To achieve this Newtech chose infra red soundfield systems. Wall-mounted amplifier units were connected to two infra red sensors and 4 ceiling / wall-mounted TOA speakers. Systems were linked to Smartboard projector screens allowing the playback of music through the soundfield systems.
Kingsworthy School, Winchester
Newtech Southern was required to supply and install induction (hearing aid) loop systems for Kingsworthy School. A Newtech Counter Loop System was installed on the main reception desk and a Portable Induction Loop System was supplied for use throughout the school.
Warren Park School, Havant
Newtech Southern was required to supply and install an Infra Red System for the main school hall. A single Sennheiser wall-mounted IR radiator was mounted at the front of the hall and linked to an existing PA system. A range of headset and neckloop infra red receiver units allowed flexibility for users. Any pupils with hearing difficulties could then decide whether to remove their hearing aid and listen via a headset or use a neckloop receiver in conjunction with their hearing aid (switched to the T position).
Fawley Independent Nursery, Fawley
Newtech Southern was required to design and install a multi-room background music system. The client required the ability to play CDs as well as connecting an IPOD from elsewhere within the building. Discrete speakers were key to this installation and for this reason specialist corner mount speakers were used together with 6” flush mount ceiling speakers. Done!
