NewTech’s Visual Alert Systems are installed in the home to alert you when the Doorbell, Telephone or a Door Entry/Intercom System are activated.

By either using a Portabell MK6 lamp, or connecting The Housebell Series 5.0 to the overhead lights , both these systems will alert you when the Doorbell, Telephone or an Intercom has rung.

Portabell MK6
The Portabell MK6 Master Unit is mains operated and can be connected up to three different alarms. The Doorbell, Telephone and a Door Entry System.
The Telephone
The Telephone pick-up has a Direct Connection and is attached to the telephone, thus when the phone rings, the lamp will flash with the ring pattern.
The Doorbell
A cable is connected between the Master Unit and the Doorbell. When the bell is rung the Portabell Master unit gives an automatic 30 second slow flash.

The Door Entry System - £12.45 + VAT*+ £2.50 P&P
The Pickup Sensor is attached to the Door Entry System. When the buzzer is activated the Portabell Master Unit will give an automatic 20 second quick flash.


		Portabell Extension Unit Three Extension Units can now be wired into the Master ensuring you that you don’t miss that call. You can use either the Portabell Extension Unit or the Beacon to make up these three extra units. These units can then be positioned in other rooms. Price: £47.90 + VAT*+ £5.50 P&P

		Beacon Unit Alternatively, our new low cost Beacon will provide a bright flashing light and can be connected directly to the Master Unit, or to another Extension Unit (either standard or Beacon). This is ideal to give visual indication in the Bedroom, Kitchen, Dining Room or any other room in the home. Price: £39.00 + VAT*+ £4.50 P&P


	Price: £93.90 + £8.95 P&P Housebell Series 5.0 This operates with low energy dimming bulbs and standard bulbs alike The Housebell Unit is wired into the house lighting circuit and causes the main overhead lights in the home to flash whenever the Doorbell rings. This is a very popular unit because of it’s effectiveness throughout the house and avoids the need of running wires from room to room. This Series 5.0 is suitable for either Single or Dual Lighting Circuits. In addition, the Series 5.0 can be set up to either Flashing or Dim the lights during installation, depending on your requirements. Also, by simply connecting the Telephone Adaptor TPA3 or a Door Entry Unit DE4 to the Housebell Unit, the house lights will flash whenever the Telephone rings or when the Door-Entry System is activated. The facility for connecting a DC Audible Bell or an AC Bell is also provided (see Installation Leaflet). The Telephone Adaptor TPA3 and the Door Entry DE4 Units together with the Housebell will alert you anywhere in the house to the Doorbell, Telephone and Door-Entry/Intercom System.

		Telephone Adapter Unit TPA3 Our BT approved Telephone Adaptor TPA3 simply plugs into the BT line jack socket, and connects into the Housebell Unit to cause the house lights to flash whenever the Telephone rings. Price: £59.90 + VAT*+ £3.95


		Door Entry Unit DE4 For those not able to hear a Door Entry or Intercom buzzer, the combination of the Housebell with the DE4 Unit can be provided. With this system you can be anywhere in the house and still be informed that you have a visitor calling. The Door Entry Unit gives an automatic 5 flash sequence to the overhead lights. 		Portable Telephone Amplifier This compact lightweight telephone amplifier is suitable for use with all types of telephones, including cordless. It offers enhanced clarity and the volume control allows the sound to be amplified up to ten times and is compatable with hearing aid telecoils. Price: £20.00+ VAT* + £2.95 P&P


		Sonic Alert Alarm Clock This analogue alarm clock with bed vibrator has been purposely designed for those that cannot hear a conventional alarm clock. The “BUZZ” should be enough to awaken most sleepers, but if that should fail, the optional Vibrating Pad can be provided for that extra boost.
