To provide infrared listening system to multiple classrooms throughout the school.
Install
Barncroft School required assistive hearing system to be installed in designated rooms throughout the school and Newtech asked to undertake this project. The systems were designed to be 100% compatible with one another and to require little or no day to day adjustments from the user. We chose to install Sennheiser Infrared equipment due to its exception reliability and sound quality.
In each of the smaller classrooms a wall mounted infrared radiator / modulator unit was installed with a mini mixer amplifier and ambient rooms microphones. In the larger rooms a wireless lapel clip microphone system was also supplied for use by the teacher.
The school hall had a public address system installed and so this was linked into the infrared system to allow a direct feed from the PA system to be broadcast via the infrared system.
A selection of both rechargeable headset and neckloop infrared receiver units were supplied with recharging adapters.
