Brief

To provide a sound reinforcement and projector system with simple user interface.

Install

Newtech was invited to design a new sound system for Chipperfield Baptist Church in Hertfordshire. The  requirements of the system were:

  • To install wall mounted speaks.
  • To provide a 8 channel mixing desk, amplifier, hearing loop amplifier and CD player.
  • Installation of a ceiling mounted projector which would be connected to a laptop connect point at the rear of the church.
  • Installation of a laptop connection point which would allow a laptop to be connected to the projector and to the sound system.
  • Supply of a lockable cabinet in which all equipment would be kept. This cabinet would also contain the mixing desk and would be operated from the rear of the church.
  • The system must be easy to use and reliable.
