To design and install a discrete and simple sound and hearing loop system to bring low level sound reinforcement to the nave.
Install
St.Marys Church in Homington is a small church which required a sound system. TOA speakers were installed at high level to help reduce the visual impact of the system and wireless microphone system were supplied in order to reduce the amount of cable required. A loop system was also required to benefit hearing aid users who were having difficulty hearing readings. In order to minimise the visual impact of the installation on this listed building a grey loop cable was ‘hot glued’ direct to the stone (see above pictures) across the front of the altar and beneath the pews along the sides of the church. The system was setup so as to require minimal adjustments in its day to day operation- a requirement which was highlighted early on by the customer.
